First binary release of the OpenTURNS-MIXMOD module

Hi,

Using the new cross-compilation framework for the modules, I built the first binary version of the openturns-mixmod module for Windows. It is compatible with the official 1.0 release of OpenTURNS and should run both on 32bits and 64bits versions of Windows, from XP to seven.

Please open tickets if you find any bug.

Two and half implementations of a scilab wrapper without any compilation

Hi,

In a post on the user list, one asks for an easy way to wrap a scilab code into an OpenTURNS function. Here are two possibilities:

  • using the generic wrapper
  • using the Python wrapping of OpenTURNS function, in two flavours

There are other possibilities I didn't have time to illustrate.

Even with this simple function (the sum of two floating point values), the generic wrapper is faster than the python wrapper by 34% on a quad-core computer.

How to use the openturns-mixmod module to create mixture of experts meta-models

Hi,

Using the new classification capabilities of the openturns-mixmod module, it is possible to create mixture of experts meta-models. These capabilities will be presented during the next OpenTURNS Users day (12th of June 2012) and you can find the presentation attached, as well as the script.
