Open TURNS enters Debian

We are glad to announce you that Open TURNS has just entered Debian distribution the September 8th, 2008.

For the moment, the packages are only available in the unstable distribution, but will been soon part of the testing and in a near future part of the official stable (squeeze ?). Here are the packages designed by Christophe Prud'homme:

  • libopenturns-dbg - Debug symbols for OpenTURNS
  • libopenturns-dev - Headers and libraries for OpenTURNS
  • libopenturns0 - Dynamic libraries for Openturns
  • openturns-doc - Documentation for OpenTURNS
  • openturns-examples - Many examples of OpenTURNS functionalities
  • openturns-validation - Validation for OpenTURNS
  • openturns-wrapper - A example of a wrapper for OpenTURNS
  • python-openturns - The Python front-end of OpenTURNS (aka TUI)
  • qopenturns - The Qt3 user interface of OpenTURNS (aka GUI)

The supported architecture is i386 for now, but all the other ones (amd, ia64, sparc, etc.) should be available in several months. See more information here.
